As from October 1st 2009 new law came in which gave VOSA new powers to impound/crush any stretch limousine capable of carrying over 8 passengers. To operate a stretch limousine for over 8 passengers the vehicle must have a C.O.I.F certificate and have a operators license. Be very careful when booking a limousine as if you book a limousine without it meeting these requirements you could be putting yourself at risk. We at Earls Limousines would be happy to show you copies of these if requested.
Earls Limousines Ltd operates under the VOSA National O license scheme all our Limousines Undergo 10 weekly safety Checks and have passed the stringent C.O.I.F Test that is required to carry more than 8 Passenger in a public service vehicle all drivers have a clear CRB Check and all limousines have Tacho and speed limiters which is a legal requirement to carry over 8 passengers
